After the High Elves, (the Good and Beautiful), I can’t exempt myself to paint some of their evil cousins, beautiful as the same, but really, really less good.

The first one I’ve painted was a Sorceress on Cold One. Then I painted a small regiment of five Knights on Cold Ones with command group. Looking at the Cold Ones, i think those new plastic and metal miniatures are the best ever. Some editions ago were too “cartoon oriented”. Now they’re real terrors, like Jurassic Park Raptors, and when they come out from the box you can’t wait to assemble and paint them. Much of the sculpting work is done in digital 3D: in fact, perfect symmetry, and outstanding poses are possible only with the computer’s help. If this is the new quality of the plastic miniatures, well, hail to the plastic!
